CMM OPERATOR[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., is in search of an experienced CMM operator to join our team.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operate CMM (PC-DMIS 2013 MR1), including maintenance of programs, set-up and execution
  • Follow program set-up and execution documentations
  • Review CMM reports and determine discrepancy shifts or possible rework options
  • Conduct CMM inspections of miscellaneous parts and tooling as required
  • Read and interpret aerospace manufacturing drawings, including tolerances, customer specifications and technical requirements
  • Interact and assist with manufacturing and programming personnel in regard to part conformance and process capability
  • Conduct miscellaneous surface plate inspections and hand-held gage setup/calibration as required
  • Compare product to engineering drawings, specifications and purchase orders
  • Document product acceptance or rejection on manufacturing order
  • Perform and complete FAIs in accordance to AS9102 requirements (original and Net-Inspect formats)

Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years’ experience in CMM operating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years’ aircraft experience
  • Graduation from certified technical school
  • Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications, and geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations

CNC MACHINISTS[+]

The McGinty Machine team is seeking experienced CNC machine operators for our first and second shifts. Qualified candidates will have knowledge and experience operating 3- to 5-axis computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts; setting up machines; reading blueprints; detecting malfunctions in machine operations; inspecting own work; and maintaining safe, organized and clean work environment. Must be able to frequently lift, push and pull objects that are 85 pounds or heavier. High school diploma (or GED) and graduation from certified technical school required. Experience and willingness to work in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment is a must. Applicants must complete a written machinists’ exam in-person prior to interview. Pay based on experience. ESTIMATOR[+]

The McGinty Machine team is seeking an experienced estimator. Will be responsible for preparing estimations for quoting by analyzing engineering documents, specs, models and all other related data using a shop management software system. Must have experience with multiple customer CBS Excel spreadsheets and understand how to formally submit a bid to an industry-leading OEM and aerospace suppliers. McGinty Machine is an EOE.

FINAL INSPECTOR[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., is in search of an experienced Final Inspector to join our team.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Inspect parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications
  • Interact and assist with manufacturing and programming personnel in regard to part conformance and process capability
  • Conduct miscellaneous surface plate inspections and hand-held gage setup/calibration as required
  • Inspect part mark, completed paperwork and shipping documents for accuracy and completion
  • Review customer requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years aircraft experience

FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTOR[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., is seeking an experienced First Article Inspector that meets the following requirements:

Education/Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • AS9102 Inspection: 1 year
  • FAI Inspection: 1 year

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Ability to read and comprehend moderately complex instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English
  • Understanding of AS9102, First Article Inspection (FAI) and FAI Reports
  • Create and review ASI9102 FAI reports in Net-Inspect
  • Skilled in proper inspection techniques using precision measuring instruments, mechanical surface plate, comparator and all inspection tools necessary to inspect complex aerospace details and assemblies
  • Ability to read and accurately interpret specifications, blueprints, etc.

PRODUCTION SCHEDULER[+]

The McGinty Machine team is seeking an experienced production scheduler, who will successfully perform all activities and administrative functions related to scheduling production runs. This includes, but is not limited to, creating bill of materials (BOMs) in Global Shop, our shop management software; releasing work orders; issuing material to work orders; reviewing and maintaining the shop schedule; red-lining planning changes; reviewing demand and maintaining supply; keeping customers updated on shop capacity; updating dispatch lists at machines; creating and updating a generic schedule in Global Shop as needed; and assisting project managers. High school diploma or GED required. Experience in manufacturing and with Global Shop or similar shop management software a must. Must have excellent computer skills and interpersonal skills. RECEIVING INSPECTOR[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., is seeking an experienced Receiving Inspector to join our team.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Inspect purchased parts, assemblies, hardware, special processes and materials for conformance to engineering requirements and specifications
  • Examine items for defects in materials, work and damage occurring in transit
  • Compare quantity and part number of items received with procurement data and other specifications to ensure completeness and accuracy of order
  • Review POs for approval
  • Inspect material issue to a work order
    Work knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance

  • Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
  • Control pace and workflow with specific communication and feedback to team
  • Communicate, practice and coach best practices and operational standards throughout work day, including workplace safety and time efficiency
