Our aerospace manufacturing company is in search of a motivated, highly organized and experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Evaluates manufacturing processes by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators
  • Develops manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
  • Improves manufacturing efficiency by analyzing and planning work flow, space requirements, and equipment layout
  • Assures product and process quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and process capabilities; establishing standards; confirming manufacturing processes
  • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with government regulations
  • Keeps equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services; following manufacturer’s instructions and established procedures; requesting special service
  • Maintains product and process data base by writing computer programs; entering data
  • Completes design and development projects by training and guiding technicians
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of machine environment with proven track record of rapid application of material diversity with exotic metals such as titanium, aluminum and aluminum lithium

BUYER/PURCHASING SPECIALIST[+]

Buyer/Purchasing Specialist
Our aerospace manufacturing company is in search of a motivated, highly organized and experienced buyer to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review purchase order for accuracy and comparing to vendor quote
  • Checking requisitions for accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Executing timely, independent decisions and determining appropriate course of action based upon best practice and external purchase orders
  • Maintaining purchase order records
  • Resolving purchase order discrepancies, including pricing, quantity and shipping issues
  • Processing orders
  • Supporting the organization through activities focused on sourcing and cost reduction
  • Developing supplier relationships
  • Coordinating and submitting required government documentation
  • Purchasing office and shop supplies
  • Performing all outside processing duties

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years experience preferred
  • Experience with raw material and outside processing

CMM OPERATOR[+]

Our aerospace manufacturing company is in search of a motivated, highly organized and experienced CMM Operator to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operation of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), including maintenance of programs, set up and execution
  • Follow program setup and execution documentation
  • Review CMM reports and determine discrepancy shifts or possible rework options
  • Conduct CMM inspections of miscellaneous parts and tooling as required
  • Conduct miscellaneous surface plate inspections and hand-held gage setup/calibration as required

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in AS9100 aerospace industry required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school
  • Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Must be able to interact and assist with manufacturing and programming personnel in regards to part conformance and process capability

Education/Experience

  • Keeping customers updated on shop capacity

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Establish QA compliance objectives and ensure targets are achieved
  • Define and implement quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff
  • Set up and maintain quality controls and documentation
  • Identify quality related training needs and continued implementation of training program
  • Analyze facility performance data and charts against defined metrics
  • Ensure procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated
  • Liaise with customers and auditors to ensure the execution of compliance objectives
  • Establish and monitor quality requirements for customers and regulatory agencies
  • Drive and promote continuous improvement throughout facility
  • Provide assistance in developing quality policy and plans
