CMM OPERATOR[+]

Our aerospace manufacturing company is in search of a motivated, highly organized and experienced CMM Operator to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operation of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), including maintenance of programs, set up and execution
  • Follow program setup and execution documentation
  • Review CMM reports and determine discrepancy shifts or possible rework options
  • Conduct CMM inspections of miscellaneous parts and tooling as required
  • Conduct miscellaneous surface plate inspections and hand-held gage setup/calibration as required

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in AS9100 aerospace industry required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school
  • Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Must be able to interact and assist with manufacturing and programming personnel in regards to part conformance and process capability

PRODUCTION MANAGER[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc.,  is in search of a motivated, highly organized Production Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure all jobs are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
  • Create and/or improve operational systems, processes and best practices that guarantee organizational well-being, and enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity
  • Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity for both bluestreak and long-term production divisions
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
  • Cater to customers’ needs
  • Manage special projects as requested by supervisor and/or company president
  • Oversee a workforce of 30+ employees in the manufacturing department
  • Recruit, train and supervise managers
  • Direct subordinate managers by providing clear and concise goals and performing regular evaluations
  • Train and audit subordinates to assure they are performing all required tasks in compliance with company standards and instructions
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
  • Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
  • Set ambitious production goals and communicate them to key personnel
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to senior management
  • Follow all rules and processes

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing operations
  • 2+ years’ experience in supervisory capacity
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven track record of successfully training employees in productivity and safety
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis or in groups
