CNC MACHINIST – 1ST SHIFT[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., is looking for CNC machinists to join our first shift.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operate 3-, 4- or 5-axis CNC machines to fabricate parts
  • Set up machines
  • Read blueprints
  • Detect malfunctions in machine operations
  • Inspect own work
  • Maintain safe, organized and clean work environment
  • Lift, push or pull objects 85 lbs or heavier

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in 3- to 5-axis CNC machine operating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school (or nearing graduation)
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Ability to pass written machinists’ exam in-person prior to interview
  • Must be willing to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination prior to start date

DEBURR TECHNICIAN[+]

The McGinty Machine team is seeking an experienced deburr technician. 

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Cleaning, deburring, sanding, lapping, etc., of precision machined parts using both power and hand tools
  • Reading and understanding customer specifications, blueprints and drawings

 

Qualifications

  • Previous deburr experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of blueprints and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time
  • Willingness to work flex hours as needed
