Our aerospace manufacturing company is in search of a motivated, highly organized and experienced purchasing specialist to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Review purchase order for accuracy and comparing to vendor quote
  • Checking requisitions for accuracy, completeness and compliance
  • Executing timely, independent decisions and determining appropriate course of action based upon best practice and external purchase orders
  • Maintaining purchase order records
  • Resolving purchase order discrepancies, including pricing, quantity and shipping issues
  • Processing orders
  • Supporting the organization through activities focused on sourcing and cost reduction
  • Developing supplier relationships
  • Coordinating and submitting required government documentation
  • Purchasing office and shop supplies
  • Performing all outside processing duties

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field preferred
  • 3-5 years aerospace purchasing experience preferred
  • Global Shop experience preferred
  • Experience with raw material and outside processing
  • Proficient in reading blueprints, BOMs and parts lists
  • Basic math skills
  • Leadership skills

SHOP FOREMAN – 1ST SHIFT[+]

Our aerospace manufacturing company is in search of a motivated, highly organized Shop Foreman, who has the ability to work in a detail-oriented, fast-paced environment, to join our team.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure all jobs are manufactured in a correct, cost effective and timely manner in alignment with specifications and quality requirements
  • Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime
  • Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity for both bluestreak and long-term production divisions
  • Control pace and workflow with specific communication and feedback to team
  • Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs
  • Communicate, practice and coach best practices and operational standards throughout work day, including workplace safety and time efficiency
  • Oversee employees in the assigned division
  • Ensure all employees follow industry standard health and safety guidelines
  • Provide motivation, support and guidance to all employees
  • Communicate any problems or obstacles to Production Manager
  • Execute tasks as directed

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years’ experience operating 3- to 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • 5+ years’ experience in supervisory capacity preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in 3- to 5-axis CNC machine operating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school (or nearing graduation)
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Ability to pass written machinists’ exam in-person prior to interview

MATERIAL HANDLER[+]

The McGinty Machine team is seeking an experienced material handler to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Loading, unloading and moving materials within or near plant, yard or workstation
  • Safely and proficiently using hand tools to install strapping, bracing and padding to prevent shifting or damage to materials in transit
  • Conveying materials to and from storage or workstations to designated areas
  • Lifting heavy objects by hand or with a forklift
  • Reading work orders and following instructions from Shop Managers to ascertain materials or containers to be moved
  • Operating saw and waterjet to cut raw materials to working size
  • Driving company vehicle between facilities and to local suppliers, as required
  • Assisting machine operators when necessary
  • Cleaning work areas
  • Performing all assigned duties

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s licence required
  • Forklift operating experience required
  • Previous material handling experience preferred
  • Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
  • Moderate math skills needed to successfully perform duties
  • Willingness and ability to follow directions from superiors required

The McGinty Machine team is seeking an experienced production planner with extensive knowledge of the aviation manufacturing industry. 

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Creating master job plannings from engineering drawings
  • Planning engineering changes
  • Conducting capacity analyses
  • Assisting with estimating and scheduling as needed

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial management, or related field preferred
  • 3+ years related experience with at least 1+ year in aviation manufacturing preferred
  • Knowledge of and proficiency in engineering software (i.e., CATIA) required
  • Experience with Global Shop or similar shop management software a must
  • Basic math skills required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Keeping customers updated on shop capacity
  • Updating dispatch lists at machines
  • Creating and updating generic schedule in Global Shop as needed
  • Assisting project managers

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1-2 years scheduling experience
  • Experience in manufacturing
  • Experience with Global Shop or similar shop management software
