ASSEMBLY[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., is looking for an experienced assembler to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Ability to drill and countersink holes for installation of riveted nutplates, ground studs, bolts and fasteners
  • Bushing and bearing installation to include swaging and staking
  • Mixing and application of aircraft sealants, mixes, resins and protective coating
  • Assure quality conformance to company and customer requirements and specifications
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow customer specifications
  • Inspect own work
  • Assure final quality acceptance of installations, structures, components and control
  • Maintain safe, organized and clean working environment

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 2+ years’ assembly experience for small to medium and simple to complex aircraft machine parts
  • Attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school (or nearing graduation)
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations

CMM OPERATOR – 2ND SHIFT[+]

Our aerospace manufacturing company is in search of a motivated, highly organized and experienced CMM operator to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operation of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), including creation and maintenance of programs, set up and execution
  • Follow program setup and execution documentation
  • Review CMM reports and determine discrepancy shifts or possible rework options
  • Conduct CMM inspections of miscellaneous parts and tooling as required
  • Conduct miscellaneous surface plate inspections and hand-held gage setup/calibration as required
  • Perform in-process inspections using calibrated hand tools

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school with hands on CMM experience -or-
  • Minimum 3 years aerospace experience programming and operating CMM
  • Working knowledge of blueprints, sketches, drawings, manuals, specifications and geometric dimensioning and tolerance
  • Must be able to interact and assist with manufacturing personnel in regard to part conformance and process capability

ESTIMATOR[+]

The McGinty Machine team is seeking an experienced estimator to join our team.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Analyze labor, material, and time requirements for a project
  • Estimate costs by looking at the entire project
  • Present cost estimates to upper management
  • Prepare reports detailing all of the costs going into a project
  • Input cost data into company database
  • Notice differences between estimated cost and actual cost
  • Provide analytical support for projects, new business opportunities and proposals
  • Interface with project managers, warehouse and accounting to resolve any vendor/supplier issues
  • Manager supplier contracts and perform supplier evaluations
  • Other related duties as assigned

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain or related field
  • Previous 3-5 years experience in a related role
  • Strong time management, quantitative and analytical skills a must
  • Must be familiar with logistics and production planning concepts (i.e., JIT, MRP, ERP)
  • Experience using databases, spreadsheets and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have basic math skills
  • Leadership skills a plus

CNC MACHINIST – SECOND SHIFT[+]

The McGinty Machine Company, Inc., is looking for CNC machinists to join our second shift.

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Operate 3-, 4- or 5-axis CNC machines to fabricate parts
  • Set up machines
  • Read blueprints
  • Detect malfunctions in machine operations
  • Inspect own work
  • Maintain safe, organized and clean work environment
  • Lift, push or pull objects 85 lbs or heavier

 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experience in 3- to 5-axis CNC machine operating
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from certified technical school (or nearing graduation)
  • Working knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Ability to pass written machinists’ exam in-person prior to interview

DEBURR TECHNICIAN[+]

The McGinty Machine team is seeking an experienced deburr technician. 

 

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Cleaning, deburring, sanding, lapping, etc., of precision machined parts using both power and hand tools
  • Reading and understanding customer specifications, blueprints and drawings

 

Qualifications

  • Previous deburr experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of blueprints and drawings
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time
  • Willingness to work flex hours as needed
